About me
I was the heavy kid in class.
Growing up, that was simply part of who I was. For most of my life I assumed it always would be.
As I got older and started thinking about my future and my family, something changed. I watched people around me struggle with their health and slowly lose the ability to do the things they loved. I realised I didn't just want to lose weight — I wanted a body that would let me stay active, capable and fully present for the people who matter to me.
So I learned. I lost more than 45 pounds, and along the way I learned the much harder lesson: how to keep it, while working, living and eating like a normal person.
Today I coach in Jerusalem, mostly with people who sound a lot like I once did — unsure, a little intimidated, and quietly hoping this time it sticks. Watching those people walk into a gym and know exactly what they're doing is the part of this work I love most.
What I believe
Four things that shape my coaching
You don’t have to already be a “gym person.”
Almost nobody starts out feeling comfortable. Feeling out of place is a starting point, not a verdict.
Strength is the goal, not shrinking.
Weight can change along the way, but what changes your life is being capable, energetic and confident in your body.
Fitness should fit your life.
You have a job, a family and things you care about. Training should support that life, not compete with it.
Understanding beats obedience.
The aim is for you to know what you’re doing so you could carry on without a coach if you had to.

Your first step is a conversation
Want to talk it through?
A free consultation is exactly that — a conversation. Tell me where you are and what you want, and I’ll tell you honestly how I’d help.
